Supporting CEO Growth in a Social Purpose Start-up
Following a successful coaching engagement with a Senior Leader in a large organisation, I was invited to support him again in a new venture—as CEO of a social purpose business he was building from scratch. Over four years, I worked closely with him as he navigated multiple funding rounds and built the foundations of a high-performing Executive Team. With a clear vision and growing capability, the organisation scaled from inception to a £10m turnover, while maintaining its mission-driven focus.
Enabling Strategic Shift in a High-Growth Tech Business
This fast-growing tech company had evolved rapidly over eight years, requiring the founder CEO to reshape the Executive Team to keep pace with its scale and ambition. Although dynamic, the new team lacked experience at this level of growth and needed to transition from operational reactivity to strategic collaboration. Through an eight-month coaching programme, I facilitated team development focused on defining purpose, enhancing investor communications, improving internal alignment, and onboarding a new Executive member. As their leadership capability grew, they secured greater confidence from their new parent company, enabling international expansion and fresh investment.
Developing Resilient Leadership in a Property Business
As a retained coach for the Executive Team of an £80m turnover property company, I’ve supported their leadership development over the past four years. With regular team coaching sessions throughout each year, the business adopted a reflective, long-term approach to growth. As the company evolved, 75% of the Executive Team was reshaped to bring in the expertise needed for cultural transformation and continued expansion. The result is a robust, forward-looking leadership team equipped to lead the business through ongoing change and opportunity.
